So I have a cash rewards card that's a year old now, started at $500 sits at $4,500 now.
I have a go rewards card that started at 9,500 that was approved for 6k increase last week, was above 20% utilization on profile so explains why it wasn't 8k. Card will be 5 months old tomorrow.
I started fixing my credit in June of last year where I had $4,400 in total credit and a handful of collections, plus two charge offs.
Collections are gone, one charge off is 4 years old and is paid, other is 4.5 years old and unpaid, I live in New York so i intend to use the 5 year law to have them removed pending the 4.5 year old decides to settle otherwise I'll just let it continue to age until it falls off.
I now have $99.3k in total credit over the last 16 months, went from 3 cards to 10 on personal with an additional 4 on business.
Curious if anyone has had similar situation with navy because I'm debating applying for Flagship next week when my utilization is back to 1% -- questioning if it's a good idea now or if I should wait a bit longer.
monthly deposits into my flagship checking range from 16-30k for last 6 months, income $450k
Being $700 short of $100k is frustrating my OCD which is why my trigger finger is itchy on the Flagship app lol
TU F9 should be above 745 after utilization update and I'm currently 2/6 and 7/12 for TU inquiries, 5 of those 7 are NFCU (auto loan and line of credit, two cards, one denial in-between the cash rewards and go rewards)
I'd wait 6 months at least. With that much credit and that many new cards you will be denied almost assuredly. Let that credit age some and in about 6 months you should be good

I agree with @CreditPoor that you should go without any new applications for a while.
Put some lotion on your itchy finger and remind your yourself that time is on your side. Stay away from any credit boards for a bit and use your existing cards responsibly and before you know it you will have many great opportunities but not now.
Staying away from this website will absolutely do you good. its been seven years, since I was last here regularly ...
Now I am wondering if American Express will give me another credit card when they havent been giving me CLI's for years without.... more paperwork, and i want to open a Marriot CC and take vacations. 😐
