Well, that's what I was saying - when the rep told me I had to app & be approved for Sallie Mae and then they could talk to me about moving/consolidating CLs I got the impression they don't do product changes, you need to be approved for the card first. And I think that makes sense, their CCs are about the most varied of any CC issuer. Rewards MC is for fair/rebuilding CSs, high APR but decent rewards. Sallie Mae is for good credit, excellent reward points in select spending categories. Ring is for excellent credit, low APR and great for BTs. You do have alot of CCs, they may be worried about you being over extended on CC CLs in general, and with them in particular. There must be 1 or 2 Barclay cards you could do without easily, wait a month or 3 and then reapp for Ring.

I would wait 6 months from your last Barclays approval and check the app status page to be sure your previously denied app is out of the system. Otherwise the computer will auto decline you without a new HP. The more cards you have with Barclays the longer in between apps I would wait.
Wow, great advice. Thank you.

Agree! That was amazing advice!
I'm getting ready to apply for the rings once my sistser Chase AU hits (which is taking forever) since my Amazon Store CLI 2k-8k) is now showing.
