I'm looking a couple big ticket items at SAMs, and want to take advantage of the special financing. I'm requesting $15,000, but I'm willing to accept a counter offer if available, my income is ------"
Agent:
"yes, pizza I will be happy to help you! May I please take a few minutes to process your request?"
at this point you will either get the $10-25k you requested, a come back with a counter off, or a 7-10 message letter. If denied, who cares! It's a SP!!( except for Care Credit)

I straight up asked on my JCP card for $10k, had less than 6 mo $500 limit, not a good credit profile due to BK, and they countered back with $3500
This does work, ask for the moon, they might get you halfway there. Went from $937.00 to 8K today on my Sam's Club card.
