Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
I received an invation from Founders to apply for their membership card. Has anyone ever used them before? I have a list of perks but I just wanted to see what the communties take on the card was. Thanks for any advice!
Be aware that it is not a credit or charge card (so mods may move this somewhere else).
It's a benefits sort of card ostensibly targeted at startup founders, but usable by anyone who operates a small business or travels on their own cards.
I joined on a deep promo, mostly for some uplifts on Caesars and Hilton loyalty programs and some scattered discounts. They have discounts on several travel options (air, hotel, luxury car, etc) as well as electronics/computers and office/business goods and services.
If you get an invite you can browse all the benefits and see if it's worth the rate you get. I think it used to be $795 plus an initiation fee, but you can get under $300/year on a good day. Check some of the frequent-traveler sites to see reviews and changes... benefits can change, come and go, without much notice... so your mileage will vary so to speak.
One other quick note. If you get an invite with an expiration date, don't feel pressured. Odds are you can wait them out and they'll send you a couple of future offers, some of which may be even better. $395/yr seems to be the default promo, but they've had some a bit lower in the past year.
