I know we can freeze bureaus after preapproval of gm card, so I don t have a hardpull .
Which else card can I do the same thing? And if it exists any detail about how long should I keep it frozen ,if availble
It is only a HP the new account will do far more harm than a HP to your profile/score.
what? new account helps credit go up if no hp . what do u mean?

You're going to take a score hit for the new account. How much really depends on your file. How thick, thin etc...
If your youngest account is more than a year old, you could take a hit of up to around 25+ points because it also bumps you down to a different scorecard.
If you already have an account younger than 12 months, you're already being penalized but will still take an additional hit of around 10 to 15 points for the new account.
The only advantage you could gain from the added CL is if it significantly reduces your aggregate UTI.

Except for when actively applying for credit, you should keep your reports frozen. As for recommendations regarding SP approvals, I can't help with that.
As stated above, the HP point loss is going to be less than the hit one will take for the new account showing up.
