Recently I applied for a CLI on my Synchrony Amazon Card. Currently the credit limit is $10k. I always pay in full and have charged about $20k per year, about $1500 a month.
Thought you might chuckle as I did from the most generic CLI denial letter I have ever received:
"The requested amount exceeds the limits set by our credit policy."
Just about any creditor could use that as a denial, ha, ha. Other than the 5 percent Amazon rebate in a high sales tax state, I don't care about using Synchrony for any other reason. I can live with the denial.
@NAVYCHOP I had similar experience with Synchronny a couple of years ago. Here is a link to post regarding the reason they gave you

Yeah, I heard that $10k is the limit set by their credit policy.
