Call me crazy but I want to get a DCU card with ~10k limit. I use DCU for my banking and would like to have the overdraft option from the VISA card. I know there are "better" options but I'm happy with the DCU banking and would rather keep it that way.
I've opened 5 credit cards this year, 3 Jan-Mar (1500, 2500, and 4700 limits) and 2 this month (10k and 15k limits) and don't intend to apply for any others. The last negative items should fall off my Equifax report in April.
If I wait until April will DCU care about the recent accounts? Will I have issues with DCU in the future if I apply for more cards or CLIs?
I have DCU Platinum with a 10K limit. When I applied I had 10 new accounts and 11 inquries on EQ. I also have a auto loan, savings, checking, CD and money market with them. I got all of these after I was approved for the Platinum.
What is your EQ Mortgage score? That's what they pull.
My EQ mortgage score is 650.
2 charge offs ($300 and 600) and a collections account for $2500. I can probably get the charge offs removed but long story short I don't want to risk any request with the collection turning into a dispute. I have no problem waiting until these fall off my reports and my recent accounts gain a bit of age.

Forgive the stupid question but who is DCU?
Digital Credit Union.
DCU is a vestage of Digital Equipment Corporation... they used to make mainframe and minicomputers .... even one consumer DOS/CPM computer....
Know a bit about this due to family members now deceased that worked for them....
The head of Digital also was the one who started Gordon College (correction.. on the board.. Iv heard both in local conversation)
