Alright credit addict you have my week mapped out for me ![]()
I am going to hold off on applying for the Business LOC with NFCU until I get the letter and find out what the "reason" for denial could possibly be.
Chase for sure on the agenda.
4506T with NFCU for recon LOC tomorrow
New CC with NFCU tomorrow
Find a suitable Amex card this week as well to establish a relationship with them.
Good plan? anything need adjusting?
I have a new business and opened up a business bank with chase which is mostly going to be ACH transfers .. so dont really need a branch so was thinking of opening up a business bank account with NFCU .. worth doing or just stick with chase since they are around the corner and very helpful in the branch
UPDATE!!
So I am not one to give up too quickly ![]()
I called NFCU on Tueday and asked for reconsideration ..... explained my income and offered up 4506T. VERY nice CSR said let's appeal the denial. She took lots of notes and seemingly listened well and made a good case for why I absolutely should get this LOC and why my income MORE then qualifies me. She submitted and it was again instantly 'conditionally approved".
The following day I called in to see if they wanted me to sign a 4506T and they said "no" they wanted the tax return ... perplexed, I asked to speak to someone in the credit department because I felt sure we were just crossing our terminology and they would in fact want a "verified" 4506T. ..... Nope - can you please send us your corporate and personal tax return. Okay.
Go to send it and realize I can't find a copy of the personal to save my life .... email the CPA and she magically poofs a transcript from the IRS in like 5 mins - love her! So I fax that and the Corporate Return. I call the next day. They say we still need your Personal Return. I explain that I sent the actual full transcript from the IRS because I couldn't find the original filing on my computer and they said they couldn't accept that - I literally almost fell over (dated, stamped - the whole nine yards) .... so back to the CPA ....
YAY she digs up the Original the next day. I fax that over. First fax fails - I am feeling doomed at this point. 2nd Fax goes through after 6:30 PM. I called in today to make sure the return was received and they confirmed. They said to please give them about 6 hours or so. I said no rush, just making sure you had all that was needed.
FINALLY - about 20 minutes ago - email APPROVAL - Docs on the way!!!!!
Cannot believe what all that took and they went off of what I filled out on a form rather then what the IRS actually had on file .... kind of crazy ![]()
