HELP!! Chase GREEN CHECK MARK OR REFERRAL????

Hi all,

My grandma's account has a green checkmark CSP offer (60,000 points, with a solid 18.24% APR.) She wants the card but I have the CSP so I wanted to know if using the Green Check mark gives her ANY advantage over doing a cold app referral?

Now that Chase has prequalified her, does that mean she would have good chances of getting the card anyway with a cold app so I could refer? Or should she stick to the safe bet of applying through the selected offer? She is at 4/24 so OK as far as passing the 5/24 rule.

Hoping to figure this out soon so any help would be appreciated!

If she already has a pre-approval, I'd say she's golden for a cold app as well. I've seen a lot of people getting it recently with a cold app and no pre-qualified or pre-approval offers. I'd say go ahead and do the referral.

If she is been shown the 18.24% APR that is the lowest on that card so I would say it is almost a given that a cold app would give her an approval and you the bonus sub for getting her on board.
