Tried to cue the SCT pop up too many times -- now account is blocked....
I think I have too many "ghost" accounts.....
Too bad I didn't know about that before...
Anyone else have this happen??
What are "ghost accounts?"

There's a few people on here that have mentioned them....
I guess it's where you guest check out so many times to get the pop up -- and it creates "ghost accounts" in their system....so apparently it can lock your account, or cause you not to get anymore pop ups...
Guess I kinda over did it...

It just wasn't meant to be, I suppose.
clear your browsing history!
Call their customer service number (hsn.com - not the regular customer service, the hsn.com guys). They can "merge" the ghost accounts into one usuable account.
1-800-933-2887
They are there until 1am EST. Tell them you may have created multiple "Guest Accounts" on the website.
If your account is "locked" deleting all cookies, waiting 60 minutes, and attempting again should resolve your issue.
Hope that helps.
I got a $4k Overstock card on the same day as a $2k HSN card. I swore I would never get another store card after the one J. Crew but after reading about the approvals I tried to get the popup. I declined it and then regretted declining it. I use about 5 different email addresses and two browsers. I clear out my browsing history every time. I think it's just a random thing because I finally got the popup again and took it. Not sure you can be locked out for them unless your credit score changes.

Why regret?
Soft pull. Christmas. Bought my mother a pair of 14k gold earrings with birthstone inserts ($60 or so). 45 days before first payment. Upped my spending before passing the 10% utilization score. I am in a unique position with 14 years of student loans reporting and did not have a credit card for 13 of those years. My score is high but my income isn't what most people in my situation would have. I have a higher credit score than 85% of folks and take soft pull cards all day long.

....Interesting situation...
Whatever floats your boat though, I guess. I'd personally rather have 12-18 months Interest free on purchases on a non-specific PRIME CC than having a bill due and subject to 26.99% interest in 28-45 days. It's your credit and your decision though.
