Habands? SCT?

I was finally able to get the SCT to work for me with Habands but it doesn't say how much i was approved for. So is this gonna be a HP? If so its not really worth it to me.

It will be a soft pull and the limit will be fairly small, probably around $250 to $500 but it is a good way to add some tradelines without a hp if you have a thing file. After 6 months they start growing. Mine has not been a year (i do not have Haband but i have 13 others with comenity) and they all started with $200/$250 and they are all around $1K now with couple of them over $1K

Re: Habands? SCT?

Your Haband card can also be used at Blair, Norm Thompson, and  all of their other stores....there are 13 of them. I have Blair, Haband, Norm Thompson, Linen Source and had I know that before I accepted them, I would have only take one of them.......all of mine are right at $1000 limit each, but you can maximize your rewards by only using one of the cards.

I like Blair, Haband and Norm Thompson for men's clothes.....Linen Source is ok when they have sales. They all have pretty good clearance stuff.

Re: Habands? SCT?

Really scrutinize what you app for. Better to only go for ones you would pay cash at, product you're buy anyway. Also only consider ones with members only coupon incentives, or zero interest financing. Since you know it finally works, keep trying the overstock/wayfair after your score refreshes hopefully higher.

Most of the ones i have are unfortunately for women Smiley Happy I used brylane home and linen source a few times for bed stuff, pillows and such. And the others, i only used them once to have a statement so they report the cli to the credit bureaus. It is the only downside of comenity cards. If you dont have a statement, they will not send any updates to CRA's. I still have a few accounts that has never been updated since i opened them in July last year. And it helped my fico score when i used the ones that had not been used in 5/6 months. It shows as an inactive account being active again, and it gave me about 10 points on my fico from each bureau. When that's the case, i find the cheapest thing i can, and have it shipped as cheap as possible, let the statement close with a $10 balance, then pay it off.
