i recently applied for a CitiBank cash back card but was denied so i called the backdoor number to recon the app and the rep told me the first application was pulled from equifax only and asked me if i wanted to pull from a different credit bureau to see if i get approved so i told him to do experian and see i have 2 hard pulls in experian plus 1 from equifax and i don't know about transunion, How can i get this fixed ?
Citibank usaully always pulls EQ and EX when you intially apply ( atleast in my cases), so unfortunately the CSR did not know what they were talking about. If you agreed to another pull you are probably stuck with it I know it's not fair .
theres no way to fight it ? when i talked to the CSR he told me only exquifax was pulled and so he told me i could pull from a different bureau to see if i had better chance but now i have 2 in Experian 1 in Equifax and probally 1 in transunion, Theres gotta be a way to fight atleast 1 pull since he pretty muched lied to me

Well that's a complicated situation and it may be hard to find justice. The question is, does this whole process worth the trouble for the removal of 1 inquiry?
Well my worries is that i have alot of hard pulls 9 and it should be 8 and i feel like every last hard inquiry hurts my credit
Unless there is Fraud involved (ie, someone other than you applied for something) you have about .01% chance of getting the HP removed. Ive
been there myself, and getting that extra HP sucks, but not much you can do about it.

I agree. I would not dispute it as someone has mentioned to try, this can lead to other problems with your credit reports. I know it stinks, but you just gotta move on.
It seems like you're putting more value on one inquiry than it probably really warrants. As stated above I would be hesitant to go about claiming that it was done falsely as who knows what sort of ramifications that might have. At the end of the day it's one INQ and there are people with way more than that on their reports and it doesn't seem to stop them from being approved. Personally I have north or 12 on mine and as of last checking my score is the highest it's ever been.

Hard pulls only hurt you for 12 months. There is no difference between 8 and 9 hard pulls in 12 months on your FICO score. If you had 2 or 3 hard pulls you might not be happy with the 4th one but if you have 8 don't worry about the 9th or the 10th or the 11th.
