Hard pull with amex?

I got approved  for a amex card yesterday  and want to apply for another today will it be two hard pulls both are credit cards

No way to know for sure but there is a good chance that it will be another HP

Not 100% sure but I feel like the threads I've seen have been 1 hp for a charge and a revolver. Can't remember seeing any for two revolvers...

I think it could be a HP also. But as stated it could vary.

Depends what kind of card you applied for already, and which you want to apply for today.

If you apply for two of the same type (revolver, charge) within the same 5 day period they will put the 2nd one on hold until 5 days from the first application has passed, then do a new HP.

You can usually get away with a single HP for 1 charge and 1 revolver on the same day though.

IMO if you want a card then expect a pull and be happy if there isn't one. HPs shouldn't determine your card choices. HPs are temporary

I applied for Delta and Hilton 6 days apart, approved for both, one HP.

I've read of several people who were able to get lucky like this, but it's not the 'norm' for folks here by any means.

The most predictable (if you can call it that) way to get "2 for 1" is a charge and a revolver applied for in the same day - I've done this twice now and both times it was only one HP, and many other folks here have done this as well.

Of course with most things credit YMMV and it's certainly not guaranteed; just as some people have reported applying days apart and still only getting one HP, some people have reported getting two HPs for two apps in the same day.  In either case I would simply say to prepare for a HP for each app, and be pleased if it turns out to only be one.
