Looking for DPs on new account holders of unsecured cards less than one year old, getting CLI by any method since March 2020.
Many, myself included, have been informed by Disco reps that current policy does not allow for this, as of March or April 2020. Other MFers are confident that young unsecured cards have gotten CLIs in under a year recently, but a quick forum search didn't yield relevant threads.
I don't recall exactly when that edict came out but it seems to be pretty ironclad. I opened my second Disco in September 2019, got a small bump just before Covid in December, and then nothing until I had my 12th statement cut. I would say that they're holding pretty firmly to it from my experience and that of others I've read on here.
Similar to @Anonymous , I opened mine in Oct '19. I received an initial small bump around January or so and then nothing again until my 12th statement cut. As a matter of fact they even took the option to request a CLI away from their desktop website. Once my account turned a year old it reappeared and has remained ever since. I have read the same from many other memebers on here as well, and they all seem to state Disco reps have said this whenever they call in as well, leading me to believe it's a hard set policy if all of their CSRs seem to be on the same page.

@Anonymousand @Ficoproblems247 was the cli you received after the 12th statement cut auto or requested? and was it a decent amount?
Mine was requested and was $500 against an existing CL of $1500.
@Iusedtolurk I went back and did some digging to get you exact dates and amounts.
Oct '19: Card approved, SL $1,000
Jan '20: CLI $500 approved via luv button, additional $400 via call in double dip
Feb '20: CLI $100 (lol) approved via luv button
Mar '20: CLI option dissappeared off website
Oct '20: CLI option reappeared on their website
Nov '20: CLI $500 via luv button
CL now at $2,500 and growing ever so slowly. It's cool, though. I love Disco and find their categories very useful for the most part.

Good data @Anonymous and @Ficoproblems247 also I see you did a little digging didn't mean to put you to work but if you're like me it was fun. I see none were auto though.
I should have asked in my previous post but what was the spend through the cards heavy usage or light? I got mines in 11-19 so I'm supposed to get my matching cash back today when statement cuts hope it comes with an auto but if not I will give it about 6 months and probably do a request. Plan on using it more, getting near the limit and knocking it all the way down during that time.
Good plan on the usage @Iusedtolurk . I would say though once you get your cash back, go ahead and hit them up for an increase if you don't get an auto-bump. You miss 100% of the shots you don't take.
On mine, I had pretty decent spend second and third quarter especially (I used it for gas since it's a Chrome). Between gas stations and other random spend, I probably ran $650-750/month through it for a few months.
From my notes on this particular card:
Discover IT Chrome approved 9/12/2019, SL $1250; increase to $1500 on 12/15/2019;
increase to $2000 on 10/27/2020;
increase to $2500 on 11/27/2020;
All three increases were SP and initiated by me, I've never gotten an auto-increase from them on my Chrome or my ITCash.
I typically have run about $500/month or so through it over the last year give or take. Every attempt met with a denial has been the reason of "Insufficient experience with current Discover credit limit." I know that one of their reasons can be insufficient spend, so it seems that $500ish a month in my case is enough to appease them. I'm probably on a short leash because I burned them for about 2K back in 2012. I paid them back in full, but when I was approved last year in Oct, my scores were also close to 100 pts lower than they are now.
Not to veer off topic of the thread, but my personal experience with my Discover account is that spend has been a non-factor in CLI success. That trend has been consistent for me for 4+ years, so definitely enough time to safely say it hasn't mattered one bit.
