Thanks but I don't need help with utilization. As Ziggy says, I'm good on that front. My quest is just to get as much as I can.
OK, in answer to your original question, I doubt anyone has gotten a CLI except maybe during the Sept-Oct 2014 frenzy on a recon call. You are more likely to have a card pulled away to lose the CL than get any sort of CLI.Agreed.
I suppose we can all agree that we have a decent "piece" of lending history (ala BMO/Diners Club) that won't repeat itself for a long while (there are still folks hoping they reopen their doors!). Considering how long they were absent from the credit arena (applications-wise), it certainly came and went *poof* in less than 2 months.
Defnitely agree. I told people close to me about this. All applied for one account and those who were approved opted (at the time) not to apply for a 2nd card. By the time they decided to app for 2nd card, the opportunity was gone. You snooze, you lose.
OP... dont even think about CLI. I have twins too 25k each. hidden, i use them for my ins and big purchases. Shhhhhh.

I have both but they're not even 12 months old. Now for me, the combined $50,000 works just fine (they're twins
). Yet, I have no need to request any CLIs on them since they're pretty self sufficient (and hidden TLs as well). IMO, I would leave them alone unless you REALLY, ABSOLUTELY, need to have higher CLs (moot point if they don't report or unless you need for extra purchasing power without affecting reportable utilization). IIRC, they'll perform a throrough review (again) and you can risk losing one (remember your new accounts!)
You are correct FinStar. I have twins at $15,000. I don't need CLI's either, just trying to grow where I can. I won't ask for CLI with Diner's I was just seeing how the prospects might look. You confirm what I already thought. I do know that the regular CSR's can go up to 15k but anything over that requires a senion analyst with Diner's.
Correct, Do you remember one of the forum members...CenturionKing (I believe?). Requested a CLI on one of his/her Diners cards (can't remember which one - Elite or Premier). Well, anyway, after they performed their diligent review, one account got closed. I wouldn't poke the bear. Just my .02c.
I remember this case like yesterday. They cancelled his $30K CL on the card. He had both - $30K on each.
He stated that people calling requesting a CLI, they ended up cancelling one out of two ( for those with two cards). I will leave the BEAST alone for a long period of time

Totally agree. if any one needs a cli. I do. 5k limit . but hey since my report clean now. i hope when they review. they will show a little auto luv. Last review was in mid febuary for most. so maybe this month again.

@taxi,
Was that an periodic auto review or manual review (consumer request)
It was an auto review across the board. there was a thread about it. it happened on febuary 19th. just do a pull on tu. and look at your soft pulls you will see bmo on febuary 19th.

Ok thanks taxi. Did anyone get increase or AA to your knowledge?
There were a couple closures on the second card. mostly the premier. i guest they wanted to keep the high AF elite. but otherwise not many. they were just checking i guess. and no one that i know of got a cli. as stated before. i had talked to centurionking about it after they shut him down. and they told him at the time. 6 months minimum before cli's. but i defiantly did not want to wake the bear from all the new accounts i had gotten since i got my Diners. so i let it go. as i have high usage on it. and since it is hidden. i luv it. no affect to my fico. and i want it to stay that way. hehehe
