For anyone who’s trying to do similar, this is what I will be doing today and why!
Backup plan if denied – Currently have 2 CCs with PenFed @ $7.5K CL each. I’ll ask to move $2.5K from each of those two current cards to make the Pathfinder $5k…if they let me.
2. Apply for BOA Alaska Visa Signature (have an email promo code to apply) – I want this card as a backup for the annual companion. Currently have AMEX Delta Platinum. Keeping this one as well.
Backup plan if denied and/or offered Platinum Plus – Deny Platinum Plus and use same HP for CLI on my Cash Rewards Card, and if enough CL is granted, call and request to move some of that CL to open the Visa Signature. If not enough CL granted, call recon.
Will do them at the same time using two windows. The MAIN reason for doing this is because of the 5/24 Chase rule. I want to apply for the CSR by 10/2020 when my chapter 7 falls off. The 24 month clock starts on 10/2018, so I have to apply for these before that so I can have 0/24 when I apply.
Did i miss anything? Thoughts??

- Apply for PenFed Pathfinder no AF – I want it as a backup for the $100 Annual Air Credit and TSA/Global Entry. Currently have AMEX Platinum Ameriprise, but will no keep when AF comes.

Just remember in the future BOA has been known for HP even when moving CL to other cards.
Good luck!

Really?
Update:
BOA
1. I applied for the Alaska Card and got the "we need to review applcation, will get a decision/answer in the mail" something like that.
2. Did the CLI request on my Cash Rewards Card, requested $15k and got the same message as above.
Conclusion - If I get denied for the card and CLI, I will close the Cash Rewards and be done with BOA. No HP notifications yet.
PenFed Pathfinder
Decided not to apply for it. I guess i could go for it once my renewal comes in 3/2019 for Platinum Ameriprise. Currently scheduling my appt. for Global/TSA and aleady have $200 in credits...no need for Pathfinder for the next year.

I wouldn't wait for any letter. Call recon dept. It's the BK on file. I've always had to call with them, but they work with you to an extent. Be prepared to answer questions regarding your finances, like salary, how much in liquid assets you've got, reasons for the bk, why you're asking for such CL, etc. Good luck and keep us posted!
That is wonderful... Congrats!
Thanks! I might just keep the Travel Amex should i want to open another card int he future, i can use that as bait lol
