I'm applying to BarclayCard Ring Mastercard and am going to apply for a second card immediately after. This second card has to meet most, if not all of the following requirements:
1) 13.99% or less APR
2) Accepted nearly everywhere (in the U.S., outside is a plus but not a must)
3) Must use soft-pulls for CLI or have a system that fairly and relatively frequently provides automatic CLI without a HP. (About once a year is plenty)
4) Be able to accept me (My scores: 774 EF , 777 TU , 756 EP , 0 HP, AAOA 2yrs, 6mos)
5) I don't travel much so miles will probably be wasted on me (I'm not sure I would know how to use them either)
All suggestions are highly appreciated. I'm ready to pull the trigger in the next 24 hours so thanks in advance for all your help!
P.S. I've investigated heavily into Chase Freedom and Discover It as many have recommended these in particular but they seem to have terrible customer service records. Discover tends to never give out the actual 10.99% APR and Chase likes to give HP's to everyone wanting a CLI
P.P.S. Feel free to try to convince me of the 2 aforementioned cards still but you'd best do a good job! I'm open-minded AND picky.
Thanks everyone!
Would like to do this today. Thank you community.

Citibank offers sp clis every 6 months.
I havn't looked into Citi or BoA very much. Which cards are good and easy through them? I have heard nightmare stories about BoA but only as it pertains to banking with them lol.
Look into Bank of America Better Balance Or Cash Rewards. BOA will be hp clis though. Citibank has the Double Cash. 2% cash back on everything. I really think you should reconsider Chase Freedom. It's a great card and Chase has good customer service. Not sure where you heard they were bad.

Ouch about the HP CLI's. Do they tend to do automatic CLI's every once in a while? I don't mind waiting as long as they'll come. I have checked out the Double Cash and it doesn't seem all that impressive (only because of a 5 day delay between things getting charges). What do you know of Simplicity and Diamond Preferred from Citi?

I have the Diamond Preferred only because I was pre-selected for it. Nothing exciting about it at all. Simplicity I don't know much about. Another good think about Citibank is the free EQ Fico Bankcard 08 score each month.
I've done further reading into both of these cards.
What I like about Simplicity: Simply, no late/annual fees, forgiveness for a late payment
What I like about Diamond Preferred: Early ticket's to certain events/preferred seating, possible lower APR, (possibly no annual fee? Someone claimed after a while of having the card that they received an annual fee? It has a little number next to it but not sure if I'd have 0 annual fee forever or not)
Diamond Preferred has no annual fee.
