Phew. That's a relief. So do you like them of your Freedom? I feel like I am interrogating you, forgive me. Smiley Indifferent

Re: Help Find My Goldilocks Card

Well I like Freedom better because of the 5% cash back categories. And Chase is much more generous as far as credit limits than Citi. While customer initiated clis are hps, Chase is known to auto cli. With your scores I see you getting a nice starting limit. And if you're not completely satisfied, Chase is awesome with recons. Citibank, not so much! But you could always get both. Nothing wrong with starting a relationship with both prime lenders. Smiley Wink

I definately do want the Barclay Ring and if they do auto CLI at Chase then that seems like a good choice. Maybe I can get the CITI next time. I don't think I could handle 3 HP's in one day and thrashing my AAOA. Lol.

Approved:

@Barclaycard Ring Mastercard $5,000 CL @ 8.00%

@Anonymous Freedom $6,000 CL @ 13.99%

Immediately called the recon for Barclaycard and got a CLI to $8,500.

Not able to do the same with Chase but that's fine (asked for a HP).

Today was a good day and thanks to all that helped me on these forums, you guys and gals are all amazing!

Re: Help Find My Goldilocks Card

Im a big fan of Discover it. Its a card that really works for me and within a year i got 3 auto CLI's. With your scores you should definitely be a shoe in. Discover it was actually my first card.

Re: Help Find My Goldilocks Card

Congrats on the approvals! Chase freedom in particular has been a Godsend to me. 1 year ago, I had a $500secured card only and no credit history. Chase was the only major bank to take a chance on me (CL $4000). In the past year, the CLI has increased to $11,500 with auto CLIs from Chase! Never a single request from me! And mind you, it was my only card so the balances reported were high many months and they'd still increase it. Of course YMMV, but I think going with the freedom will prove to be a wise choice.

Re: Help Find My Goldilocks Card

Thank you for this encouraging remark. It really was a last minute, kind of random choice. It was between this, Discover It, or Citi Whatever Preferred. I couldn't decide which until someone here helped me make the choice. I hope I get my CLI soon. Smiley Happy
