good luck.
@Varsity_Lu There are several posts that indicate that Elan handles Fidelity Credit Cards. In your original post stated Fidelity Visa and a max cash card or words to that affect. Since they are both Elan credit cards I tied them as coming from the same source. There will be two bureau inquires most likely Trans Union first will show Elan Finanial services Fidelity or something to that affect. The second inquiry will be the local bank and Elan Financial services. When I worked for a credit reporting agency the bureau inquiry sent had to include the name of the customer who the credit reporting is pulling it for. edited to remove incorrect information
All that said my potential frauds concerns are allayed. I hope all three cards are approved

@AndySoCal wrote:@Varsity_Lu Two applications will not confuse the Elan's system. This is not the first time that this has ever been done. My concern is the system may flag the accounts for review. The review most likely will include the fraud department. The fraud department could close both accounts. What could trigger the review is the fact a customer that has never applied for a card applies tor two within the matter of minutes. This scenario can be a potential fraud case.
Well, @unsungivy did it. And that was his 3rd and 4th app in the spree. Only one HP. Worst case scenario they both get denied. Not that big of a deal. Not worried about a fraud cas since it's not fraud.
Her. I iz not a boy.
Fixed my post.

Elan definitely issues and manages them both, as well as at least some of the US Bank cards. In some ways they're treated independently of one another, but in other ways they are linked. i.e., someone on another forum recently had their Smartly card closed for excessive credit cycling, and it triggered the simultaneous closing of their Fidelity card.
Elan Financial is a subsidiary of US Bank. Cards issued from either run on the same system. This is why the reporting is so unique on their cards. Because of the strength of US Bank the whole thing works. In fact US Bank is the largest issuer of prepaid cards around. I also know that US Bancorp(legal name for US Bank) won the contract to run card processing for benefits in my local state even though they do not have branches. This is not just for fun but is big business. I would not be surprised if Elan and US Bank were interlinked internally by a lot.
