Yes, the Original Creditor is currently reporting that account as late and it has been charged off. At least that is what it looks like to me on my credit report. That being said I am going to let everything sit for awhile.
Obviously, I cannot go back and unpay the debt collector. So it is what it is. It has been deleted off of my credit report for now. If they add it back later, I can't help that. I do not mind that I paid it, as it was a debt that in incurred and I do not mind paying something that I owed. I will say I have called my Attorney General's office before on some other issue regarding a debt collector years ago and they were sympathetic, but not helpful.
I did get pre approved for an $8000 PayPal Mastercard and did accept that. It is through Synchrony bank as you advised.
Also, I do have a CapOne Quicksilver card. It is one of the two Cap One's i have. I think I put it on the list but I may have just said it was Capital One and not Quicksilver, I'll have to go look.
So as I sit today MyFixco is 715, Experian is 728, and Transunion is 729, and Equifax is 728
I'll just have to wait and see what happens from here.

I think that every week I come here and learn something new! Some of the helpful folks here do seem like wizards as mentioned elsewhere.
Congrats on your new card approval!
Your scores are solid, but the combination of mostly subprime/rebuilder cards with low limits and a past charge-off still showing could be holding you back with prime lenders. Many issuers also look at internal history and current accounts when making decisions, so upgrading your current lines (via CLI requests) and letting more time pass since the derogatory can help. Once that charge-off ages further or drops, and you’ve built higher limits with existing cards, approvals for better products should come easier. You’re on the right track; just keep aging your accounts and boosting limits.
