Help me get the citi double cash

I'm trying to get the citi double cash.

I had about 6 hard inquiries in the past few months, One was for a loan for a commercial vehicle, the other was for a personal loan, the other 4 were for credit cards. 

I didn't follow through with the loans, and two credit cards were for an Apple Card that I got denied and then approved for, one was for a Bank of America credit card I got denied for, and the last inquiry was for a citi double cash that I got denied for. 

they said: Thank you for your interest in the Citi® Double Cash Mastercard® account. We're unable to approve your application because:
ŸToo many recent credit inquiries are recorded on your credit bureau report. Please note, our decision was based in whole or in part on information in a report from
the following consumer reporting agency:
TransUnion LLC

my credit scores range from 675 to 745. I've paid off my balances completely so I'm guessing if the score were ever updated the lowest should be near 700. 

my question is how long should I wait until I reapply for the citi double cash? I want to build my credit and that's a card that I want. 

ive read that inquiries stay for 2 years, but how long should I wait?

The inqs only affect your score for 12 months.

You can pay your card balances in full. But allow something to report.

Pay the bill after statement date.

Unless over 30% utilization.

How old is your credit history?

Denial reasons are pretty generic.

So don't take them as gospel.

I have an auto loan from 10 years ago that shows up as my oldest account, one late payment. Other than that all I have is a secured capital one card with a $1600 limit and a new Apple Card with a $2500 limit that doesn't even show on my report yet. 

ok I should wait a year, I just didn't want to try 6 months from now and get denied again

Ok, I see now.

Your issue is having almost no credit history.

Yeah, let that Apple CC report for a while.

The auto loan is dead. It would have to be active, in order to make a real difference.

Sounds like it's time to hit the garden.. no more inquiries!!!! give them some time to fall off.
