Help please - Applied for Cap 1 Savor Card

I unlocked my EXP report because I searched and figured this was best. My two others are locked.

They did a HP on EXP but sent me an auto-decline because of the two other locked reports.

What should I do? Call and ask for a re-consider and unlock the two other reports?

If not...How can I ask for them to remove the HP since they never even viewed it or used it.

Did you receive a letter in the mail stating the decline was because of the locked reports?

Well pickle juice!  Pickles.gif  Sorry..

Yeah Cap One is well known for doing a triple HP for all of their cards..

There's no way to get the HP removed, you app'd it's there to stay.

You can call and ask them to recon after you unlock the other two, they're going to pull both.

No guarantees though- Cap One recon is not known for successes but still worth a shot..

Good Luck!! aaa1 Good Luck.gif

I've heard of people getting 2 hps instead of 3 if they have their reports locked. 1 out of 3 - slim chance of that happening.

Im sorry to hear this op. Im quite suprised with the amount of time you've been on myFico, that you didnt know Cap One pulls all three reports and no one should try to game them by keeping multiple bureaus locked as to force them to use one specific report. Not saying you did this but for future posters who may see this. Its bad practice and against forum TOS.

Unfortunately in your case you will most likely have to run back 3 hps to get this card.

Thanks...it wasn’t an intention move to force them to pull just one. It was an oversight on my part that they do a tri-pull. I’d gladly unlock the other two I just don’t want another HP on EXP.

One of the biggest complaints about Capital One on these forums is the dreaded triple pull.

Re: Help please - Applied for Cap 1 Savor Card

Sometimes we make mistakes lol. I have so many nonsense hps on my reports i wish i could go back in time. Unfortunately, if this is a card you really want you might have to sacrifice an additional hp. Taking 4 hps for a Cap One card will certainly make for a savory conversationSmiley Wink

That isn't true Pikaboo-icu - "There's no way to get the HP removed, you app'd it's there to stay"

I've had them removed.

I didn't say you can never get a HP removed.

But in this case, the person applied, there is about zero chance that HP is going to be removed.

If a CR is HP'd in error that's one thing but if you apply for credit, that's a legitimate HP and Cap One is highly unlikely to remove it.
