Home Depot Consumer Card Pre Approval

So for some reason I have been getting mailers (weekly) and emails (daily) that I am preapproved for this card. Citi doesn't like me for some reason and I don't have any of their cards. I do have a Macys card but that is from their retail division so that doesn't really count.

Funny, I don't need this card but the constant bombardment from them is making me want to apply!

Yeah I keep getting hit as well...I'm going to pass.
Unless I need new appliances and they're giving promos.

I received the emails AND was pre-qual'd on thier site. 

Finally apped two weeks ago. 

Denied. 

FYI: Burned Citi a bit in a BK13 (DC 12/15) tho and that was the reason cited.

I get them also. But already have Lowe's. I wouldn't get it if you don't have a need for it.

I would much rather have a Lowes card....you get 5% off every purchase with their card.
