The first thing I'd do is to check for pre-approval. Simply log-in, go to cards, and click apply now. The website will then tell you if you're pre-approved. Amex USUALLY doesn't hard pull when you already have an account with them, pre-approved or not.
Where does it tell you that?? I've been trying to check the pre-approval page, but it just brings me to the page with a bunch of cards that shows the BCE and underneath shows "Your Card" and all the other ones just say "Apply".

If you're not pre-approved the message will say "Expanding your membership with us is easy."
That said, I don't think its a good idea to apply for another Amex card now.
Oh ok thanks! Yeah, I'm not going to apply for anything any time soon. I honestly don't think I would be approved for anything right now as I've opened quite a few accounts in the past month. It was mostly just curiosity. Thank you for all your help!

I'm glad you're learning more about it! We should all be this informed about the cards we have. I feel like I know more about Discover's cards than the actual employees! LOL
