I opted in about 2 months ago and nothing as far as mailers and SCT pop up etc. I opted in again last night and I will see what happens. Just wondering how long it takes for the creditors to get my information? My CR would support preapp. My FICO scores are basically 760 across the board and AAoA of 4 years and 6% util. So, I would think I could get a pop up on some of these sites. Then again, maybe not.
I believe it's two months. If you opted in two months ago, maybe it's slightly longer. I'm impatiently waiting for my time to toll as well.
Thanks
I know how to OPT out. And I guess a person would OPT in of they OPTed out. Does a person ever OPT in if they never OPTed out?
Closing on a house and DW likes some dining chairs from Wayfair. All these SCT for them the last day has me at the edge of my seat. lol

I don't think you would opin if you never opted out. I had my credit frozen a few years ago though.
It took me about 4-5 months before the opt-in took effect. And during those months I opted-in a few more times just in case. I would ocasionally run the pre-qual on different sites and once it popped up then I knew I was back in.
Unfortunately, one of the side effects of freezing Ex is the automatically opt you out. So, immediately after freezing about a month ago, I opted in. I've also done it a few extra times since. I guess I've got a bit of a wait.
i just opted back in tonight after finding no matches in preapprovals.
cant wait to get some offers in the mail!
