I'm curious, who apped for the Venture and got a denial. I'm curious what the number would be in comparison to the approvals we saw.
I got instant denial for Venture and instant denial for Venture One last month but my Venture app is being manually reviewed on recon so hopefully that might turn out to be an approval.
Several I have seen maybe 5 off hand that I can think of, although I am sure there are alot more that people never posted about either.

Yeah, I've seen maybe 4 but I was just thinking there have to be way more people getting denied. I think this may have just been the right people applying for the right card more than anything.
Don't think I'm gonna bite. I have a bad feeling LOL

If you don't have use for it, then don't apply. I did because I can meet the spend to get my 2nd $400 (Had a venture a while back and is still open) and I do like seeing that limit on my report.

If you wan't it still say a year from now it will still be there... people just wanted it for the bigger CL's that have borderline sup/prime credit... It by far isn't the best rewards card by any means... PC'ing it to the QS is an option though after 6 months?
well tech. $400 dollar travel credit...not cash...

@Anonymous,
At CC, I think the 40,000 points = $400 in cash and worth more for travel... Don't quote me but let me find out.

I could use another high limit card. I'm still trying to get my overall available credit to good utilization padding point, but it's not a must right now I don't think.
