How does the 60 sec pre qualifier work?

Quick question....

I have a Cap One Secured and just checked thier pre qualifier and they offered the same card to me again, can you have more than 1 secured card or just the one?

I did the same thing with BoA and they said I would qualify for their BoA Visa card. I want to apply but would hate the hard pull if they say no... Would I be better off just getting the Secured card?

Any other suggestions of Credit Cards for  a girl paying of old debt and trying to rebuild?

I am but a work in progress, taking one day at a time, learning to be more patient. In the Garden as of 12/01/15

Equifax 569
Trans Union 607
Experian 588

Goal to be at or over 650

I don't know about whether you can have two secured a Cap One cards but as for the BoA prequalifier I would ignore that one as the site is pretty much worthless.  .  Without knowing more about your credit file like credit scores it's hard to recommend cards but you might just need to add another secured card if or two if the Cap One card is the only one you have.

I believe you can have more than one secured card with CapOne.  You can definitely have multiple of the same unsecured cards.

The BoA pre-qualifier should not be trusted.

BoA pre qual is unreliable, I would recommend going with another lender if you are seeking another secured card (ie Navy Fed if youre eligible, loca CU)
