Iphone typo...should be 2013 in november.. Lol
I just got off of the phone with Chase Credit Analyst Recon. He informed me that my application had initially been denied due to my BK in 2009. I informed him that I feel that I have done a decent job of rebuilding my credit since then, and asked if there would be any way of having the application reconsidered. He said yes, asked me a few questions, such as income, why I filed the BK, etc. He put me on hold for what seemed like forever and came back to say that he was able to approve me with a line of $800.00, but that there was further review needed and I would receive the info in 1 - 2 weeks, or I could call back on the same number Monday or Tuesday to find out quicker. So......is it very often that they say approved with a dollar amount, send for further review? Does this mean they may still deny me the credit?
I really hope to get in with them. Had a card with them years ago before the job loss. Did not include them in BK. They were paid off prior.
Any thoughts or comments are greatly appreciated.
Thanks
