How is Synchrony Verizon Visa with cli's? I applied for the card and I was hoping to get signature version metal card. But they gave me Verizon Visa Card with $1k limit. The card is listed in "My Verizon" account
I guess it is what it is and I am going to move on. I'll put my new phone payment onto this card and pay it every month and keep it alive and hope for a cli's for $5k+ and see if I can get a limit increase so I can get signature version of the card. I'll try to search the forum and see what I can find out. If you have any thoughts on this cards cli's please chime in.
I know they pulled TU. Not sure if they pulled EX or not. I kept both reports open so they might pull which ever one they want to pull.
You'll have to be eligible for a CLI that eventually gets it past the $5K threshold. Once the card qualifies for an upgrade to Visa Signature then that's when they would re-issue a new version. It can not be requested and the process is automatic/system-driven.
Please review the Smorgasboard section for anything associated with the design/upgrades.

Thanks @FinStar for your input. I am not going to loose sleep over this for now. I am surprised they gave such a low limit. My Business Account with Verizon wireless is grand fathered for 15+ years and have several thousands in credit that I can buy from Verizon. But for the Verizon Visa card they need customers to have a personal account and cell phone associated with that personal account. Today I bought a phone for $1300 and Verizon approved it instantaneously. After that I applied with Synchrony for Verizon Visa and ended with $1k limit. I am going to put the payment for my personal cell phone on Auto Pilot and charge it onto my Verizon Visa card. No point even looking back. It will upgrade and get cli when ever it happens. I have no use for the card at this time.

The reason for the low SL would likely be tied to your recent personal applications for credit and/or new accounts in the past 12 months. This would have no bearing on your existing Verizon Wireless account tenure and/or how much you've spent on any devices in X months/years. So, the 1K is fairly indicative of what SYNCB might perceive as signs of being overextended.
I was under the impression that you were planning to garden for a year especially since you mentioned it on several recent approval threads (FNBO Evergreen personal + US Bank approvals) and you were very concerned about your personal information floating around the Dark Web given a recent breach incident (you indicated freezing your CRs for that reason).

Hi @FinStar Thanks for the message. Sync is finiky any way and last year known to account closures and clds. Fortunately this is the only personal account I have with Sync. I was really tempted and hoping to get the Black Metal Card but it wont happen. I am not loosing the sleep over it. It will stay on auto pilot for personal cell phone payments. That is all for that card.
FNBO has been very kind to me. Today they approved Biz Visa to me with a decent limit. Personal MasterCard and Biz Visa Card.
I have two cards in mind 1. Amazon Amex Biz card for my business. 2. Affinity Visa card. I know for sure I'll get the Affinty card. Just matter of when I want to pull the trigger and it costs me hard on EX but they will replace history from my secure card. I am done shopping for personal cards. I am back to Garden for next 12 months.
Yes, I am concerned about the dark web. I froze all 3 credit reports and taking all necessary precautions and protect my identity. Glad to start 2022 with a big bang and looking forward to a prosperous New Year 2022. Thanks to you all on MyFICO for your help, advice and guidance.
How is cli's from Verizon Synchrony? Do they do hard inq or soft? When can I for first clis? How often can we ask for CLIs after that? Is it realistic for me to expect this card to grow from $1k to $5k ?

SP.
CLI requests can be initiated after you've had the account opened for 6 months. Temper your expectations on the CLI amounts, though. They use TU VS4 for CLI decisions.

When I first got the card with a $3k SL, I got the metal card and it wasn't a visa signature. So, you may get your wish. Other than the Verizon payment credit, I use it for gas at 4% which is useful.

When can I for first clis? After 6 months at the start of the 7th Billing cycle
How often can we ask for CLIs after that? Every 6 months
Is it realistic for me to expect this card to grow from $1k to $5k ? It's possible but it also might take time, maybe as much as a couple years (or more) being that your SL was so low.
I started off with $1.5k on 11/13/2021. Every 4-6 months I request a CLI. Today I was approved instantly for a CLI bringing me to $20k.
1.5k>3k>6k>12k>20k (I should've asked for more.
What's the max for this card?
