Hi,
So I just got the Apple Card. Approved for $2500. Should I wait 6 months before applying for the Care Credit card? All 3 bureaus reporting over 700. I have a loan out for 6k, and 4 cards with no balance on them. It may show a balance on Apple because I made a bunch of purchases on it and then paid it off. Thanks for any input.
If you need it, might as well now? It's a store card meant for financing medical bills
Unless you have a bunch of recent inquiries or something, I think you're safe to go for it now. Opening one new account recently shouldn't disqualify you for the Care Credit card.
Good luck!

You don't mention when you got the other 4 cards, but assuming they're not too recent, there's no problem in applying for a new card.
I should mention, though, that I used to have the Care Credit card, and do not recommend it.
1. I learned that when a promo rate is in effect, the provider -- vet, dentist, etc -- is paying interest, a very high rate of interest.
2. You may go long periods without using it, and then when you need to use it they tell you it's been closed. I.e., having it on hand for emergencies doesn't work, because it may not be there for you when your actual emergency occurs.
3. The only way to use it for small purchases (and thus keep it active) is at Rite Aid, but it always feels pointless to use a no rewards card for small purchases when you could be using one of your rewards-paying cards.
I show I have 3 inquiries from us checking our home buying power, but the Apple Card and loan aren't showing in my credit yet.
That's helpful, thank you!
P.S. The other cards are older than 2 years.

OK so you're good to go on applying for a new card. Only, as mentioned, I wouldn't recommend Care Credit.
