How long before i can combine Chase Cards?

I currently have a CSP, sometime after Jan 1st i plan to do a 2BM with Chase for Slate and Freedom with the intent of keeping Freedom and transfering Slate to CSP.  How long after i get my Slate can i combine it with CSP?  Can i do it the same day?

There is no timeline.  Do it when you are ready/same day.

Thanks guys.  Chase Slate was mentioned for example only for CL transfer.  As mentioned in the OP, nothing will happen until next year so i'm trying to be as methodical as possible with my credit.  Still researching to see which Chase card seems to be the most generous with starting limits.  Any insight would be much appreciated.

Just combined my 11-month old CSP with Freedom this week to make a monster CL on the Freedom, to avoid the AF on the CSP.  As someone previously suggested, I called the JP Morgan Priority line in the backdoor numbers list, and they transferred me to the correct number for a CL consolidation.  Do keep in mind that they will do an AR when you call.

You can always send them a SM too. I called lastnight for one and they told me that it may come up pending and that a CR may be pulled. I hung up and sent as SM. Woke up with my processed request this morning.

There is no need to call a backdoor number or priority line in my experience in the past. The "regular" phone numbers work fine for this request.

If you don't want that card get a PARTNER Card HANDS DOWN... slate gives out terrible limits compared to like British Airways gave me $16k starting (my 6th card and my highest starting limit by far!!!
