How long should I wait to app for Venture?

A little background- Scores EQ 738 Ex 748 Tu 759 INQ 18-12-13( 6 on eq for car loan) No baddies. Lots of new credit since Oct. including Chase and Barclays. No prequal, but had a fraud alert removed, so that could be why. I fixed that with everyone except EQ. They are a pain... had to send my info 2x.  Hopefully that will be cleared up this week. Opted in.  I assume Cap one soft pulls Eq for prequals? But I don't know for sure. I am going on vacay in early Feb. and would love a nice $20,000 Venture to take with me. Can I try mid Dec? Or should I wait until Jan?

Considering I got a a $15k Venture with credit in 660's range at the time, BK showing and lots of new accounts, I think you could get it now. Pull the trigger. It's a triple pull, however. If I were going to do it all over I would have apped for the Venture and Quicksilver within minute of each other. Oh, and I had no prequal either.

I was thinking the same thing. Unless that fraud alert is going to stop them from pulling. OP is most likely golden!

I'm considering hitting them up myself on a double app.

Prequal looking good on Venture and QS.

My app finger is itching to do it! I've had the Venture page up at least 5 times. I just wish I had the pre qual. I'm going to wait one more week to be sure the EQ fraud alert is lifted. Then I'm going for it!
