I was denied care credit a few months ago. I have a Wal-mart credit card, and was also denied a cli today($0 balance, on time payments, still only $200 limit). I recently opened a credit card in Dec. making it my 4th credit card. I was just approved for an auto refinance today with Wells Fargo (my second auto loan with WF). I am having cosmetic surgery in Sept and I am so afraid to try for care credit again! I can get a loan thru a private lender but I know the interest rate will be high. I just wish I could get Care Credit to give me an approval! Oh, and Prosper denied me 2 weeks ago as well. Could it be that the amount I am requesting is too high?
Do you know your Trans Union Fico 8 score?
Get that to 660, then reapply.
I recently saw a thread where somewhere applied every single month (like 6-7 months in a row) for the Payapl MasterCard (also Synchrony)until they were approved. Personally I though that was crazy but hey it worked.
I like to let 6 months go by before I try again but as Remedios said if the reason for decline are still present no need to reapply yet.
Carecredit or personal loans are not your only option
Comenity has a competitor to CareCredit specifically for cosmetic surgery. Check it out. I don’t know what their UW is like but if approved they have 0% interest offers.

Theres something weighing down your credit score. Resolve it.. Also that car loan can have a little bit of a ding to your credit .. and that one will resolve with Time... If it were me, if i could get cleaned up a bit in the next 3 months id possibly try then, to give you time to find other options if its declined.. Otherwise... its cosmetic surgery.. you have to think.. do i really need it now or could i put it off for another year....
There are cases when its not quite a luxury.... otherwise.. You got a lot of work to do before then...
Id definitely check out the Rebuilding forums on here, and look into PFDs, trying to get stuff recalled and paid off, GW Deletions... you really need to clean up house before you try again...

Jillian I am not sure if you have had your surgery yet but Alphaeon has a link that you can use to REFER YOUR DOCTOR. They reach out to them to try to get them to sign up to accept the card. The rep suggested to me that I should have a consultation first, let them know that I am already approved for Alphaeon and that I was uninterested in applying for any other financing. This, per the rep, has worked in the past to get physicians to sign up to accept their card.
