How many Discover cards can you have?

I have 1 DiscoverIt card and I'm able to see pre-approvals for CB and G&R It cards. Both approvals give me 11.99% APR and not ranges so I think they are legit.

The thing is , im not 100% sure, but i believe you can have up to 5 active Designs per card so ....10 lol.  Right now i have 3 of each so i have 6 Discovers😁

They qualify only a certain number of customers for MultiAccount.

Not everyone can get a second card, especially if your old account is newer they would not.

Thought the limit for card products was 2.. and you need to have the first one for at least a year before they will entertain a second card....Though you can have quite a few cards =) h/t @AverageJoesCredit

I have plum (purple) and lime. However it says I cannot add another card. Mine is only a $2500 secured for a few more weeks (I hope!). So there MAY be a limit on secured card designs. Not 100% sure. My goal is to PC to the NHL St. Louis Blues card for 5% rotator vs the IT card. Then get that one down the road.

Man if Disco had the NBA contract it would be game over lol. Or better yet the DCU. Good info on the secured bit. Im kinda scared to try to change for different looks since i was really disappointed in how the Radio card looked in person. Looked cheap. But their original coloreays are beautiful 😍

You can have 2.   Good for churning first year match.  They come with BT offers too!   🤯   At least for some.  😝

I've had a discover card for six years, and it recently upgraded to an unsecured card (from a secured card) just over a year ago.  I checked to see if I was preapproved for a second card and got:

THE NUMBER OF ACCOUNTS WITH DISCOVER FINANCIAL SERVICES
 

as the reason for no offers being available.

It seems strange that they aren't more transparent about whether you can have more than once card.
