Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
I strategize what apps to fill out when. I have found that your FICO score is not the only factor lenders take into account. Your debt-to-income ratio, current credit history for the past 2 years, and income also help with qualifying for CC. I have only applied for two cards this year and was approved for both. Hope this helps.
FICO- 661
CSP- $8K, Jetblue MC- $5K, Synchrony- $2.4K, CO Quiksilver- $2K, CO Platinum- $1.5K, CF- $500, Credit One- $450, Milestone- $300

Did you make your own chart??? I need one 🤔
Just got back from the bank and got approved for the FU for $3500. Took maybe about 5 minutes to get approved.
Below is the Hubble Ultra Deep Field.
In this 1 small tiny speck of sky, there are thousands of galaxies and each galaxy is composed of
billions of stars. Around those stars are planets numbering in the trillions.
I imagine the uncountable grains of sand on those Trillions of planets orbiting those billions of suns.
I app for exactly that number..... plus 3.😐😬

I actually really like that format. Did you do it by hand or some combination of SUMIFS in Excel or similar? I have an AAOA calculation spreadsheet that I've kept some data on and if you have a spreadsheet formula for this I'd certainly appreciate copying it rather than trying to figure it out by trial and error .

.
My sheet is pretty sick (2 years of small changes). 2nd sheet tracks spend and budget, 3rd sheet writes your signature (tabs at bottom). Click "file/make a copy" Only edit the lighter cells, everything else is auto. It even looks for a promo APR to truly track your interest.
float over some cells for helpfull notes (black corner in cells). even the spade image is auto. AAoA is to the day, tons of auto data and charts below.
it would probably take me about 30 screen shots to show all the charts and other data (tracks scores, inquiries, debt, etc) I'll add a couple....

anyone feel free to make a copy and change whatever you want, share it, etc. PM me if you need any help, may start a thread in smorg.

OH haha, that's a much smarter way of doing it since I was already calculating months. Nice spreadsheet, I may take some of your additional summary ideas but stealing this particular one not including the one card (2008-2010) I had before my build here except in AAOA, also the most recent card I have to file paperwork for approval on isn't added yet (hence seedling even being clean for 6 months).

@marcforza1 wrote:Just curious as to how how many apps do most of you fill out in a year? And do you do more than one on the same day or do you spread them apart? I plan on applying for a Chase card today at the bank but also looking to possibly get a 2nd card later this year. Have been trying to rebuild my credit and been doing a god job with it for the past two years. And is there a strategy to doing apps since I know that too many inquiries can possibly lower my score?
FYI: I haven't had an inquiry on my report in almost three years.
Strange question.. At some point you need to stop apping.. lolz
Gotta let them cards grow.
I rather have fewer cards with big limits than have more card with little limits.
All I need in my day to day is a Visa, Mastercard, Amex and Discover.
