How sharp is Chase's 5/24 recognition system?

So I just fell under the 5/24 rule therefore should be eligible to be approved for a chase card.  I decided to check my pre-approvals and I'm pre-approved for basically everything...slate, FF, FU, SR, SP.

So if I was to apply I would be cutting it RAZOR close.  Like some of the accounts that matured to put me under 5/24 did so on the 9th of this month.

So my question basically is...how good is chase's system at detecting account age down to the day?  Pull the trigger or no.  I've had my eye on the FF since I started building credit but was too busy building my base to fall below 5/24

Sometimes it's good, other times not so much. I'd suggest waiting until the calendar turns 12/1.

If you're able to wait a tad longer I'd wait until the first of next month, 12/1/23 to apply. There are data points out there that sometimes suggests they will count your status as updated once the new month begins. There are some who are approved before the next month rolls over but it is a toss up (not consistent, some don't get approved) so if you wanna err on the side of caution and not potentially waste an inquiry I would wait.

I agree with @Jordan23ww and @JoeRockhead that you should wait until December to pull the lever.
