How solid are USAA pre-selected offers?

I'm planning on getting two credit cards this year.  One will be the Citi Costco Card and I'm looking for a second

cash back card.  My Equifax report is 3-4 months away from being clean.

I cold apped last July for a credit builder card and was denied.  I called today to inquire and was first told they pull

EX but when asked again the csr told me it would be EQ.  I will wait till my EQ is clean before I apply for this or the

Citi card.

Tu 8 -  747     AAOA   -  2 yrs     UT  - 1%

EX 8 - 748     AAOA   -  3 yrs     UT  - 1%

EQ 8 - 667     AAOA  -   3 yrs     UT  - 1%

What I'm wondering, is how likely is an approval on this pre-selected offer?

Thanks in advance.

You currently have a pre-selected approval on your account? Those are pretty solid.

Very likely unless you have something that has changed drastically since the offer popped up.

FICO 12/2015 - EX 692 TU 685

FICO 10/2021 - EX 596 TU 605 EQ 600 - officially rebuilding.

What survived:
Amex HH - 1.5K | Amex Delta - 1K | Amex Bonvoy - 1.5K | Amex BRG - 3.5K | Amex BRG - 3.5K | Amex Business Cash- 2K | Amex Business Plus - 2K

I received that and an auto loan offer.

I did apply for a refi on my auto (w/local credit union), but they pulled EX,

Only changes on my scores have been positive.

I'm worried about a denial and/or a low SL.

USAA has been pretty good to me, even with baddies. I got 6K SL's on two cards with a single unpaid baddie for ~2K. My buddy got a pre selected offer for a card and got a 9500 SL with 40K income and only one card being 6 months old. But as always YMMV.

Thanks for the info.  My EQ still has 8 baddies.  4 CO's and 4 OC's.  The last should age off in July/Aug at the latest.

I was able to get EE w/TU & EX.  I thought they had done a SP on my EX but didn't see it on my report .

I'd be happy with a 5K SL but know the only way to find out is to take the HP.  I believe the offer is good until 5/31/16 so

I have some time to decide.

I think they are 99.9% approved!

Assuming I get approved, what would be a realistic expectation for a SL?

Thanks for the replies.

That's like picking lottery numbers.

Probably smarter to wait for my EQ report to be derog free.  Does the fact that it's a Visa Sig card make a difference

as far as the minimum SL?
