I got the VS pop up, got the Brylane Home pop up, BUT the one I really want is Overstock or Wayfair! Scores are FICO 580 TU, 580 EQ, and 592 EX. How do I get the dang pop up? I have tried incognito browser, I have cleared my browsing history...both of those make me log into my actual account, there is no 'Check out as guest' option. I just found tonight that using Edge does give the option to checkout as a guest- should I continue trying this? Any tips or tricks? I don't think I've ever had the pop up and I did outright apply for the card a month or two ago (declined ugh) (It might have been wayfair that I applied for tbh because I had a link in my account that I thought was a pre-approval, guess it wasn't lol). Anyway, should I keep trying edge? Try my phone? Any IT technical tricks I'm missing? I really want this card, so any insight is appreciated
Wait a year. Improve your scores. Read, read, read this site on how to get the best scores, limits and APRs.
Break up your thoughts into paragraphs.
Thanks for the input. I didn't think it was super bad in length, but your input is duly noted, I appreciate it!
I've seen the same thing on Overstock myself. Interestingly, a few weeks ago when I went back to OS for the first time in a long time, I did get the SCT popup, but I backed out to change my mailing/residential address (which was still set to my old one) to my current one, and since then nary a peep no matter how many times I've re-visited the site/reloaded or added/removed items in my cart.
I do want to add a note of caution. There are reports coming in that Comenity is cracking down on accounts obtained via the SCT, especially if there are a LOT of those cards and/or many of them have very, very high CL's and/or have not been actively used since being obtained. In fact, there's at least one thread over in Credit Cards reporting how the OP on that thread very recently got smacked by Comenity with only three active Comenity cards with CL's in the $3000 - $4000 range after applying for a fourth one. I don't want to say anything definite because it's just my hunch, but I'm beginning to get the distinct feeling - as I said in that other thread - that Comenity may be fixing to lower the boom on the SCT entirely sometime in the not-too-distant future.
And CreditContractor is +1 correct. The most important thing right now for you to do is to work on getting your FICO scores into at least a decent range in the 600's, where you can start seeing pre-qualification offers from lenders such as Discover and Capital One. Getting either a Cap 1 Platinum or a Discover It (the latter is a crapshoot, but if you're lucky like I was it's one of the best cards to have) will give you a lot more flexibility than a store card.
I tried and tried for a while to get it to pop up. I finally got it to pop up after I selected Paypal to pay, and cancelled on the paypal page and returned to Overstock cart. It popped up when I got back to the overstock page. I actually use this card and wanted it!!
Good luck

VERY interesting. Looks like Overstock's engaged in a little direct competition with Paypal there which is kind of ironic seeing that Paypal Credit is also a Comenity card.
I'd go park in the garden with the cards you have. That NFCU card will likely grow very well for you if you treat it and your credit right. Just an opinion!
