Just remember - Amex isn't doing you any favors by approving you for the card - They will gladly take the $550 a year it will cost you to have the card however.

@jxh5760 have you logged into your account, gone to the cards page and clicked Apply Now?  If it shows "Extending your membership is easy" then it's not a solid pre-approval.  If you see "jxh5760, you are pre-approved!"  Then I'd say you have a more than a great opportunity to be approved, YMMV.  The pre-approval would look like this:

No it's not transferable, and even if it was, 60k is the public offering...

You should be fine , when I applied this past May I applied for BCP first Amex card instant approval , then 2 days later applied for the Platnium card instant approval as well. Applied with 680 EX and 4 INQ 18% UTI , at time of app for both cards.
