One more question, any success?

There have been people that reconned and were subsequently approved. You need to send them a letter explaining any baddies on your reports, how much you want their card, etc, etc.
Reasons given for your denial?
I used the savings account minimally (bi-weekly direct deposits of minimal amounts, usually less than $50, occasionally paid off other credit card from my NASA account), and after a year when my credit reports were in good shape, I applied again and was granted a $30,000 limit. Still waiting for the card to arrive (its only been 6 days so far).
My Membership was at the Silver level when I applied this time, if that means anything. https://www.nasafcu.com/membershiprewards/membership-rewards-chart/

It may take anywhere from 2-3 weeks for you to receive the CC, just FYI. Granted, not the same craziness with potential backlogs as compared to last year's NASA frenzy but something to consider - even my recent replacement took 2 weeks. I think they had to dismantle some shuttle parts to melt the plastic and send some of us replacements

Card arrived in 10 days. But since I applied around 7:30pm, it was really more like 9 days.
Card shipped from Florida.
PS: No chip on the card
