I applied for discover it for twice wrongly, what will this behavior affect my credit score?

I applied for Discover it student. At the first time, the page told me to upload some proofs, but I didn't have them by my side. So I close that page. After a few hours, I grabbed my documents and start to apply for it again, but the page shows that they cannot process my application because there is one already. After that, I found the previous application and uploaded my documents.

How will that second application affect my credit score? I really don't know the first application will be saved.

I did the same thing and I only received one HP from Discover.  I apped for the It and was denied then apped for the secured card and was approved. Seems they used the same CP from teh first app to review for the secured card.

And also approved with $2500 for Chase freedom! I applied for them at the same time. I will treat them well and try to reach 750 credit score when I am 20 Thanks everyone here!

good work great starter cards (people that are 40 want those and sometimes can't so congrats)

Chase Freedom was my first major card, Discover IT was second.  Not a bad line up.
