LOL thanks for indulging all my questions. I just saw they have a Southwest card and my finger is itching again. But I don't want two more inquires in one day so I'll really be good this time!

@Anonymous wrote:Oh I didn't realize that! I guess I thought they only had the Freedom, Slate or CSP because thats what showed up on their prequal site. I'll definitely keep that in mind. I don't fly united much because I've never liked their service but maybe we can be friends now LOL.
@CreditCuriousity wrote:Oh chase has many travel or what you call miles cards.. Some of the best in the business... Freedom/Chase is awesome combo due to UR points... Can be used for hotels to airline... Transfer to partners such as Marriott/United, etc... Or can be used as cash, but half the value or less if used as cash.
Doesn't have to be united Bristish Airways or any of their partner airlines...A whole different discussion though and can go on for weeks and weeks..
I wouldn't chance it with a 640, you will most likely be denied. I was able to get a cc from Capital One with a 540 and 2 collections on my report. It has a $19.00 a year fee, I started with a $300. limit, made my first 6 payments on time. and they raised my limit to $3300. I got my two collections removed by a Attorney on line, and after exactly one year to this month, my Fico is in the 760 range. Now I am applying for The Ring Card, 8% interest.
Congrats on being trigger happy and profitable! I did it last week after I kept getting the Freedom and the Slate to pop up for me with only a few months of credit history. Sad thing is I can't even sign up for myFICO because I don't have a score from EQ as of yet. Im shocked that Chase let me in being so "young" to credit considering what I've read on the boards. Have them expedite that card. I got mine We'd after applying after midnight on Sun!! By the way, I used ultimate rewards last night to "Shop through Chase" to earn more points. I'm so excited about growing my relationship with them!! Congrats again!! ![]()

@Anonymous wrote:So I just checked the Chase prequal site for the fun of it. Didn't expect to get any results because I never have before. Well lo and behold it says I am prequalified for the Freedom card! It also says "more prequalified offers for you" the Slate card! Now, my EX score just hit 640. Seems low in the scheme of things but its my highest score in like 10 years. Don't know what TU and EQ are these days. I would love to have a prime card under my belt so my question is for anyone that has experience with Chase apps, is the prequal site pretty solid if it gives you a result? Who does Chase usually pull? Thanks in advance!
Their offers are usually pretty solid. Do you have any baddies? Chase pulls from different people too so it's somewhat difficult to predict. They pulled Equifax for me (East coast).
Chase also pulled EQ for me. I'm in California.
Also, they pulled TU for me. I'm in NC.
I wouldn't app right away if I were you, considering the lates and CO on your report if approved you might get stuck with an extremely low limit. Possibly 500 to 1k. But if that is of no concern then go right ahead.
