So I'm not a churner but I plan on making some big purchases in Q4 of this year so I figured it would be a good time to apply for a CSP in October and get that sign-up bonus, but I'm also interested in the Uber and Amazon cards. Is there a particular order and time frame I should have for applying for these cards? Does it matter at all? Chase concerns me the most when it comes to inquiries.
I have 793-803 FICOs, 0-1% utilization overall, 4 yrs 10 months AAoA (9year history). No new credit cards in the last 2 years. Opened an auto loan about 20 months ago.
I only have 4 revolvers at the moment.
Definitely apply to CSP first. Before you go crazy on the app spree, do you really need the other two cards? Which four cards do you have currently?
Currently have BoA Better Balance, BoA Travel Rewards, Discover IT, AMEX Blue Cash Everyday.
I'm not sure if I really need all of them, I could probably do without one of them but the Amazon one seems tempting since I shop on Amazon quite a bit and the CSP would be for the bonus.
Go with Chase first, and check out the CSR - it really makes the CSP obsolete. I can't wait til I'm eligible to upgrade.
While I would love to get the CSR, I'm not sure if I would get the reach the 10k credit minimum plus I don't do enough travel presently to justify the $500 annual fee. I figured I could do a product change or apply for it later on if I downgrade the CSP.
