Re: Income needed for chase sapphire preffered

do you have any additional income you can report? spouse can be added to your own. 26k might not be enough to cut but I've seen cards approved with lower. The thing is, CSP minimum credit line is 5k, and they probably don't want to risk it by giving out so much if income is low. If on the application you have a very low rent/housing payment, and low debt to income, you could possibly be approved.

I'm not about to lie and put I make 50k cause what if down the road something happens and they ask me for income proof ..... I've heard of people trying to BK have that bite them back in the butt. I'm not planning on bk obviously but none of us know what life will bring us tommoroe

Google credit pulls database, and search for chase or sapphire, some information in there about income if the person entering the info wants to add. Sometimes, we just don't have these answers in the forum.

If you have a good history with Chase your odds are pretty good........could you PC your united card to CSP ?  May be something to discuss if you get denied

Re: Income needed for chase sapphire preffered

I applied with a stated income of $29K. Instant approval.

Edit: I also had primary checking and savings with Chase, as well a 1yr-old Freedom card at the time, so that may have played a role.

I Have Way Too Many of These.

American Express - No CLI or Appreciation Gift in 7 Years

Citibank - Handing Out Credit Limits Like Candy

Chase - Surprisingly, Still Tolerating My Credit-Chasing Ways

Bank of America - My Newest Bae.

Everyone Else.

I'm impressed with your morals. Not everyone has them. Good luck to you.
