Bear with me:
I've gotten into the points game and travel. I was at 2/24 (with a chase sapphire in feb, Amex gold last April, and an Ink in July; also have had a freedom open for over 10 years). Ink has a low limit, but I've been using it regularly (as well as my other ones) and I've been paying my cards off in full. I didn't apply for anything until November, and since then, Chase has kept on denying me for another business card (too much available credit/not enough business experience/too many open accounts, denied even on recons- fair enough). They said that I could try and increase my credit limit, which I requested two days ago because I figured maybe it would help me establish a better history over time with them; result was letting decision given in 7-10 days). Here's my problem:
I found out yesterday that my My business (sole proprietor) is going to require a spend of about $8000 over the next 3 months (all going to be reimbursed by who I work for; I've done it for years for various projects - repayment is guaranteed), but I figured it would be a good opportunity to hit a new SUB. Out of excitement, I ended up applying for both the AMEX Blue Business Plus and the Citi Strava because I know I could hit both SUBS easily and was approved with solid credit limits on each (good news).
Potentially bad news: Because I've been so busy with work, Im an idiot and completely forgot that I requested Chase to increase my credit limit two days ago. So now I'm freaked out that Chase is going to look at my report to see if they should approve a credit increase, see two new cards on the same day after I just requested a CLI, and shut down all my cards. I'm absolutely freaking out.
Is there anything I can do? Should I call and cancel the credit limit request or would that draw more attention? Ugh- I so mad at myself- I can't believe I did this.
You are over thinking this.

I don't think you have anything to worry about. At worst, Chase could deny your CLI, but they aren't going to cancel your cards, IMO.

Amex BBP + Strata Premier is a good combo. They should work well together for you. Congrats on your approvals!
you're fine
that isn't even a blip on the radar
what wouldn't be fine is if you applied for a chase card, and then applied for and were approved for a whole bunch more personal cards bringing you to 7-8+/24 the day after your chase approval. that's when you would needs to start to worry.
