Anyone aware of any Credit Unions that do instant Credit Card approvals kinda similar to Navy Federal? Trying to avoid the whole underwriters thing. Thanks in Adance!
Sure there are some but chances are always much greater even with instant approval an UW looks over it and can request more information such as POI or deny it due to other factors such as too much available credit, etc. CU's edge on side of caution and proof of income a lot more thank banks. UW is a good thing especially for the case of a CU as a member you are a partial owner and want due diligence or should

Why did you sock draw it?
I consider it - 5%(?) back on fuel? It's a pretty big spend for me....

It isn't 5%, it is 5-points per dollar spent on fuel, and each point is worth less than an dollar. That and I now live in an area where everything is very walkable; I'm now to the point where I typically fill up every seven to eight weeks; with the exception of a rare vacation or other trip, my annual mileage is now under 2,000.
Couple the above with the fact PenFed doesn't do CLIs without a hard pull and a year ago or so I got to the point where I found it more beneficial to put my spend on different cards.
