My recent denial for my card application is better.
"You have recently been late."
Can someone define "recently?" I haven't had a late payment on anything since 2016.
@TRC_WA Sorry to hear about your denial. Unfortunately Goldman Sachs counts any negative on your credit report as being recent. I used to get denied for recently being late but the late payment was 5 years old.
Their definition of recently past due differs from the span of time green most people would consider as recently. Once the late payment fell off my report I stopped getting denied. Best wishes to you going forward!
That's odd. I got my Apple Card 2 years after my BK7, and I had 2 accounts with multiple lates (30, 60, 90, 120), which won't be off my CR for about 2 more years. I was surprised because I thought GS was going to be like AMEX and it was going to take 5+ years to get in their favor.
They started me off at $4.5K and I'm sitting at $11K currently. But I only use it for the installment plans for my family's Iphones and for padding.

Thanks! I am in the path to apple card thing which says June... and IIRC they pulled TU... which will go clean in June/July with EE of my Ch 13 related baddies from 2016/2017.
That being said... I'm sure I'll be approved in the coming months if I apply.
@TRC_WA you're welcome and congratulations on getting into the Path to the Apple Card program. I've read so many positive outcomes from people who participated in that program who went on to be approved for the Apple Card. Best wishes to you when you eventually apply again!

To them "recent" = exists on credit report...
I have these too!
I just bought a MacMini the other day and I'm doing installments on it so we will see if I get one now. After the Mac mini if I don't get one ill order the mouse and keyboard on the apple card too since for now I'm just using the mouse and keyboard i currently have for it since they're still like new.
