I tested the preapproval and was approved for 3 cards. When I got to the review screen noticed the zip code was wrong, two numbers were transposed making it an AK zip with NJ address. I couldn't edit since I had clicked on the accept offer button the personal info was locked.
I closed out and opened a fresh page and tried again. This time making sure zip was entered correctly and received no offers.
Yes, you must live in a certain geographical location. I believe NJ is in the serviceable location.
Edit: I took this from their website: Note: Based on state law, online applicants must be U.S. citizens 18 years of age (19 in Alabama) or older. The BB&T service area includes Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia and the District of Columbia.
Thank you !

I guess they liked you better when you were from AK instead of NJ. ![]()
Would it have hurt them to stretch a bit to include NY? ![]()

Yep, that about sums it up! Guess the false zip created a new person/profile? They obviously don't like mine!
Hey, such is life, I needed another [unplanned] card like a whole in the head...moving forward! I've got a 2nd date with NFCU in a few months.
Not the time to let pretty shiny objects turn my head.![]()

Oh I know. If I could get BBT, I would have all three too. Because why not?
