Is it possible to get Citi Aadvantage Platinum Select while I still have the same card?

I already have the Citi Aadvantage Platinum Select since 2013. I was going to product change it earlier this year but it wasn't available at the time

Can I get another one without product changing first?

I'm well last the 48 month rule for another bonus, but called in and it seems Citi sees this account as "new" since April 2020. Apparently when they changed the cars to contactless. Did that reset the bonus time?

Interesting about how Citi is recognizing this as a newer account. Has the account number changed since 2013? Never reported lost/missing/stolen?

Think I did get a new number a while back but was from card expiring. Don't remember actually

the guy on phone made it sound like it was a company wide thing issuing new cards. Maybe I misunderstood him

I see. Well, if the card number changed and/or something is triggering their systems to categorize/code it as a newer account, then I would hold off on applying. Yes, you can have multiple Citi AAdvantage CCs, even with an active one, it's the SUB eligibility criteria that can throw off some applicants.

The issue you may run into is regardless of screenshots about the offer or what displays online, the system will make the assessment on eligibility internally. Plenty of folks have been denied a SUB for such technical reasons. This also tends to happen whenever someone PCs or downgrades to a different Citi card, reports the CC lost/stolen and the account number changes which renders SUB eligibility moot for another product. TY Premier comes to mind as an example.
