I don't want to say too much yet. I feel like I'd be jinxing myself if I do.
I applied for a card strictly for a BT offer.
I was instantly approved for a useless, toy limit.
I called and they advised I write to the approval department stating the reason I applied and they will do a manual review and possibly reconsider.

Sample letter, even if existed, would really not help you that much. If you are planning to do the recon, you need to address the exact reasons why you were given a toy limit.
Giving them some generalized credit talk wont do much. If your balances are high, they may not be willing to extend more credit for that reason.
Thank you!
That is exactly what I planned on doing but of course I keep rereading and over-thinking before hitting the send button!

Just address their concerns, sound humble, and fingers crossed it works for you!
Thanks, will do! I'll let you all know how it goes.
I'm trying to keep in mind it was a computerized approval so maybe an actual person will pull some strings.
